Dr. Suzanne Blaising specializes in both psychotherapy and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.

She is a dedicated and compassionate therapist who understands that life’s challenges often require us to adapt and grow. With over 25 years of experience, she specializes in helping adults navigate through depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, and relationship issues. She provides a safe environment that fosters healing and growth.

Dr. Blaising is attentive, supportive, challenging, and compassionate, fully embracing both the hardships and the gifts that life presents. Through her work, she encourages clients to cultivate self-care by becoming keen observers of themselves and their surroundings, asking hard questions, and exploring new possibilities with compassion.

Her expertise spans therapeutic modalities, including ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic integration and facilitation. Dr. Blaising served as a sub-investigator on the MAPS Phase 3 clinical trials for MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD and completed the MAPS therapist training program in 2022. Additionally, she contributed to MindMeds Phase 2 LSD clinical trials for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder. She is the Psychedelic Lead at The Wholeness Center in Fort Collins, Colorado and also a Lead Therapist in Beckley Psytech’s clinical trial using 5-MeO-DMT for treatment-resistant depression.

Dr. Blaising’s academic journey includes a PhD from the Institute for Clinical Social Work and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Illinois, Chicago. She holds certifications in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ketamine and Psychedelic Medicine Training from PRATI, Divorce Mediation & Conflict Resolution from Northwestern University, Relationship Enhancement Education from the National Institute for Relationship Enhancement. She is a Recovery from Affairs Recommended Therapist from Beyond Affairs Network (BAN), a Certified Smart Steps Educator from the Stepfamily Association of America, and Certified Premarital Educator from the Pick A Partner Program.

Active in her professional community, Dr. Blaising is a member of the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association (EMDRIA), the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, and Practitioners (ASKP3), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
